It is us. We are the peninsular. We are the strip of land that comes out further than the rest, the piece of land that is cornered on all sides by the raging seas.
We are the one who stands firm through the storm, the ones who stand in place, firm like rocks. And the wind rages against our faces and the storm calls fourth to us,
“Your next!”
The enemy is knocking and he is trying to provoke. He wants you to recede. He wants you to give him more ground. He wants you to pick up your boundary post retreat. He wants that piece of land that you’re standing on and he is serious about it.
You see the enemy wants what God has declared shall be yours. The enemy wants your piece of land and he is not opposed to fear. He is not opposed to attack. He is not opposed to circling his prey and cornering the sheep.
Oh Peninsular, Stand firm when you look to the left and they have fallen and you look to the right and they have fallen when you look before you and you see nothing but the sea, Oh peninsular do not look back. Do not retreat yourself! step forward and declare more ground as yours, lift up the post and expand the boundary you can tell that tormentor where to go, back to the depths, where he belongs.
Stand tall peninsular and know who is with you, know who goes before.
The God of all.
2 Samuel 23:12
12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the Lord brought about a great victory.
psalm 91:7-12
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
