I’m ashamed to admit that on this occasion, I did not manage my fridge contents well.
I’m ashamed to say that there were 3 packets of carrots 🥕 in my fridge bought at different times, and today I bought another pack.
so as I was cleaning the fridge, I reached into the drawer to first grab the oldest carrots. I lifted the loose bundle between my hands and set them onto the counter were they rolled out into a line.
And God told me, that these old carrots were destined for someone. These carrots had a purpose and destiny and yet they were rotting away in my fridge because no one lifted them.
Because I mis managed my life. Because I had other priorities going on, because I left them there unintentionally; to rot.
What kind of vegetables 🌽 🥒 🍆 do you have in your fridge?
What has God placed into your life with a calling and a destiny, what have you left in the fridge of the future.
Let’s get them out, let’s make a plan to chop them up and cook them in the soup of our lives.
Let’s not waste the good thing he has created for us, let’s not allow his beautiful gifts to rot in the fridge of our futures.
Let’s get it out. Let’s use it, let’s do it.
Line your carrots my friend 🥕 🥕 🥕 🥕 🥕 🥕
1 Peter 4:10-11
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
