The destroyer, he comes; he comes a knocking.
The destroyer comes, with waves and force.
You see, if your going through something, if your life is too difficult, if your barely floating through life, there is a reason.
Satan doesn’t do sail boats, and he doesn’t do yachts 🛥️ or canoes 🛶.
Go ahead, sit back and relax 😎 pull out your deck chair and wave 👋 from your yacht. Smile from your place of quiet comfort. He will pass you by.
You on the canoe, I used to be like you, paddling alone, the serenity, the quiet 🤫, your going hardly anywhere, rowing alone. He’s not concerned about you.
You on the sail boat ⛵️ , I know your pulling the sails, I know you have a course and a destination but he has bigger fish to fry.
See that torpedo passes by, it’s heading for the big guns. That underwater bullet has a destiny and it’s you; submarine, war ship.
He knows your lurking, he knows your currently unseen. He knows you’re the biggest fish, the biggest catch, because you hide yourself. Because your weapons are undercover and your ammunition deadly. He knows you’re a target 🎯 hitter, he knows your weapons are bigger. He knows your on a course that’s bigger than yourself. He knows you’ve a destination greater than anywhere you have been.
My friend, you’re a big fish around here and he wants to catch you. The destroyer wants to destroy you.
Maybe he forgot, maybe he wants to panic you, maybe you need to remember.
You have water cambers for a reason.
You have the ability to be hit but not destroyed.
You have chambers that are empty.
And you can keep pressing forward despite a water filled tank.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 8 We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.
