The ART of Losing Myself

As the coffee pours through the filter, the filter does nothing but simply allows it to pass; the filter if pure will add nothing to the flavour of the beans and also take nothing away. Simple flow. Up to down. From within to out.

The typewriter thinks not of the next word or sentence, it decides not the next paragraph. The typewriter is simply there, allowing its buttons to be pushed, allowing its ink to flow, allowing a mark to be left.

During my time working with coffee one day I was cleaning out the back, and I seen on a shelf high above me, a box.

‘100% pure filter’

And I knew that God was talking to me about what I needed to be. 100 percent pure filter, add nothing and take away nothing.

That is my prayer that I may be used to the full, that his outpour will always be HIS outpour.

Come my friend, let me wrap my arm around you.

Super bug 🧬

What does it take to make a super bug, what does one have to do to grow this antibiotic resilient bug?

Exposure.

God said to me that he will expose me enough for resistance.

He will expose me to humility enough for resistance of pride.

How does a child of God come to the place of not being affected by the contents of this world? 🌎

Simple, exposure to the almighty.

It’s simple.

Regular exposure will bring a resistance.

A daily reminder from God that it is not in my strength.

A daily reminder that it is not I, but him.

Like a name on the cover of a book. 📕 Melissa this is mine. Not yours.

And maybe 🤔 one day I will be that superbug.

The superbug that he can say will not be affected by power or position, the superbug that will not be defeated by pride or lured into self projection.

A superbug, resistant to its enemy. A superbug that will not be defeated.

A virus 🦠 that will spread and conquer, a virus that would be such a force to be reckoned with.

All because she was exposed repeatedly.

Father, let us grow. Let us develop. Let us get better at getting closer to you.

From glory to glory.

From bug to superbug.

Dose me with humility. Dose me with your presence and your word.

Bring exposure that I may truly become what you desire.
