The ART of Losing Myself

As the coffee pours through the filter, the filter does nothing but simply allows it to pass; the filter if pure will add nothing to the flavour of the beans and also take nothing away. Simple flow. Up to down. From within to out.

The typewriter thinks not of the next word or sentence, it decides not the next paragraph. The typewriter is simply there, allowing its buttons to be pushed, allowing its ink to flow, allowing a mark to be left.

During my time working with coffee one day I was cleaning out the back, and I seen on a shelf high above me, a box.

‘100% pure filter’

And I knew that God was talking to me about what I needed to be. 100 percent pure filter, add nothing and take away nothing.

That is my prayer that I may be used to the full, that his outpour will always be HIS outpour.

Theory time is over

Yes that’s right, you heard correct.

Theory time is over. Now it’s time for the practical part.

Now it’s time to take the knowledge, the 2nd hand learning, all of the information you read.

And now, it becomes first hand, now it’s on your doorstep, now it’s in person.

Now we are gonna test your head knowledge to see if it’s become heart knowledge. Now we will see if those words of God have really sunk down into your bones. 🦴

Now we will see, you in practice, you in person. Now we will see your actions and reactions. Now we will hear your thoughts and words.

Theory time 🕰️ has stoped ticking and now the practical lessons will tock.

You see God is about to take out his servant out and place him on the hill. And we will see that house shine. ✨

Not in the quiet place, not in the covered place, no longer in the cave.

No longer unseen David, but now, set out, set high, so high is your throne for the world around you to see.

Lord let your light shine ✨ through us.

Let it be glorious, let it be great.

God is ready to set you in sight.
