Earlier as I picked up the hoover and sang a song 🎵 I caught a whiff of a beautiful scene.
She walks through fields of flowers. 🌺 🌹 🌷
All colours, all shapes, all sizes, all neatly organised, row by row. Section by section in block layouts.
Fields just for her.
Through the millions of flowers he has created, through she walks. Gentle is her grazing fingers as she passes by.
Fields of blessings, so much beauty of blessings are at her fingertips.
He just calls her to walk.
It’s that simple.
Yes it can be that easy.
So small is the instruction that even a child can follow it.
Simply walk. Simply keep putting one foot in front of the other.
He just wants his bride to keep walking forward, keeping taking new ground.
Keep moving one foot at a time, and beautiful blessings await to be touched by her. They await her on her journey, they are waiting for her to soon pass them by.
Just walk.
Just walk.
Just walk. 🚶♀️🚶♂️ 🚶♀️
Genesis 17:1&2
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless. 2 Then I will make my covenant between me and you and will greatly increase your numbers.”
Beautiful, God says, keep walking, keep walking with me and be delivered daughter, be delivered son, and he will bless you greatly.
Side note 📝
3 hours after posting the above, I sat with my husband getting some things organised together on my phone. When we finished something caught my eye on his computer screen. This image below 👇
I quickly jumped to take a picture of it, wondering what it was, as I’m sure he was wondering what the heck I was doing…
“Do you know what this is?” I asked.
The tulip fields of a place in the Netherlands, I believe he said.
“Have you seen this before?” I asked.
“No it’s random,” he replied.
Random, I think not.
Thank you father for your gentle nudging, gentle love and gently encouraging us to keep walking on this path you have created for us.
Beautiful.
