As we drove to our destination today, I couldn’t help but notice something that caught my interest.
An old house. So old in fact that there was no longer glass in the windows and so old that long since had trees taken root and grew through the old dwelling.
And right beside it, a marvellous house. A huge dwelling with its double garage close by.
And it’s crazy to think of the folk living in that small house all those years ago. I’m sure they couldn’t have imagined the spectacular building that would be built one day right in their garden.
You friend, with your tiny space. I wonder, have you left space for Gods growth.
Because that big house couldn’t be built on bricks already there. It couldn’t be built upon something else occupying its place.
Only space.
Dedicated and purposefully empty.
An area, only for the bigger and grander that would come.
Have you left space for Gods growth?
Have you stepped aside?
Just how much will you allow him?
Without space, without room, how can God grow on your property?
Let’s make room, let’s leave that space, let’s give him more room to manoeuvre.
The space you allow for the landing 🛬 will determine what size of flyer will land.
Helicopter 🚁 or Airbus ✈️
Lord find us with enough space in our gardens for an Antonov.
2 Samuel 18:30
“Wait here,” the king told him. So Ahimaaz stepped aside.
Move aside and leave room, only God knows what is coming next!
