As the coffee pours through the filter, the filter does nothing but simply allows it to pass; the filter if pure will add nothing to the flavour of the beans and also take nothing away. Simple flow. Up to down. From within to out.

The typewriter thinks not of the next word or sentence, it decides not the next paragraph. The typewriter is simply there, allowing its buttons to be pushed, allowing its ink to flow, allowing a mark to be left.

During my time working with coffee one day I was cleaning out the back, and I seen on a shelf high above me, a box.

‘100% pure filter’

And I knew that God was talking to me about what I needed to be. 100 percent pure filter, add nothing and take away nothing.

That is my prayer that I may be used to the full, that his outpour will always be HIS outpour.

Come my friend, let me wrap my arm around you.

A picture perfect fruit🍇

The art of deception.

A deception. It’s so obvious that it’s in plain sight.

But yet unseen.

It is plain deceit. And at the same time it’s so undercover. You don’t even realise what’s really being taken away. You don’t realise the real and true swap that is actually occurring.

It’s seen in the unseen.

It took one line from a popular song to derail me.

Suddenly, my mind was flooded. The riverbanks had burst open into a chaotic, emotional chaos. Into a pouring stream of nothing good. And as I started to mull over my thinking, I started to consider that what I had wasn’t right, that what I had was wrong, I started to consider that I should be, it should have been something else, it should have been something else.

I realized something.

I realized this wasn’t me, this wasn’t me, but this was the art of the great deception, the art of deception, this is not my thinking, these are not my ideas, but ideas that are being brought to me. It’s so obvious that it’s in plain sight, but yet it’s so unseen, it’s so undercover.

This subtle idea that you have missed out. This idea that the way you have it right now is wrong. The thinking behind mistakes. The thinking behind, God, you didn’t give me the right one. You didn’t give me the right thing. I’m in the wrong place. And we know that’s what essentially what Eve was experiencing.

God, you promised us life, but is this really life?

Is this really wisdom?

Are we really in the right spot of our spirituality?

Or are we supposed to be somewhere else? Something different? Is it supposed to be more than this?

The art of deception truly happens.

When you see it’s colours and they look good. Just like that piece of fruit, it looked good.

Here is the art when deception is at the bite. Oh friend, don’t be biting. Don’t be biting at things that God hasn’t given you. Recognise who is bringing these thoughts to you. Who is bringing these fruits to your attention and encouraging you to bite them because what you have isn’t right.

This is a fruit that bite’s at you. You just can’t see it.

God hasn’t withheld. He has made it for you.

He has good things for you. He has made it for you.

He has made it for you. He has made it. My dear friend, this is exactly where you’re supposed to be and God has given you all the goodness, God has been merciful, God has been wise in his dealings with you, and you are exactly where you are, right where you’re meant to be, and he has not withheld from you, but he’s steadily growing you into a place, a place of destiny, a place of being further, a place of having more, don’t be deceived by the beautiful paintings that the evil one brings, beautiful paintings, many colors, beautiful shades, caressing strokes of a paintbrush, but it’s an art of deception, don’t treat your entire life like a painting.

It’s nothing but a good photograph. From a good angle, but the reality that Satans brings to you is not so nice.

The satisfaction is not soo sweet as you thought it would be.

Stop. Think about this. Who has come to you? Who is coming to you? Who has been coming to you? Who is giving you these crazy ideas? Who is presenting these beautiful pictures that are made of nothing but paint and paper?

He is the master of deception, and he paints it good.

Step away from the voices, step away from the questioning, and recognize you already have the very best your father has to offer. You were born to have the birthright Esau.

Stop trading it for stew.

Genesis 25: 29-34

29Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. 30He said to Jacob, ‘Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!’ (That is why he was also called Edom.f) 31Jacob replied, ‘First sell me your birthright.’ 32‘Look, I am about to die,’ Esau said. ‘What good is the birthright to me?’ 33But Jacob said, ‘Swear to me first.’ So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob. 34Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.

Are you famished like Esau?

Are you feeling peckish for something you lack?

Be careful you don’t slowly trade what God has blessed you with, for some stew that will not satisfy you.

Father God thank you for all the beautiful blessing in our lives that you have bestowed upon us. Let us realise what we have, let us not take them for granted.
